The Necromancer (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel) - Michael Scott This book was kind of all over the place. It seemed as if there were four different stories happening instead of just one. Scott does a great job of keeping the pace while informing the audience of critical backstory/history. While I'm not quite sure of how much I trust the Flamel's, I would side with them over John Dee any day. With the ending of this one, and the unknown of where Josh's loyalties lie, I more excited to read the next one than I have been for any other of the series.
