Linger - Maggie Stiefvater This book was a steady 3 for me throughout, I felt that it lagged and was very slow moving....then it hit the last few chapters and holy shit, all hell broke loose.

I felt really bad for Sam in this one. Here he is, recently fully human and he's just trying to figure out his life and where he stands in it all. His struggles felt real to me. He is, by far, my favorite character in this series. So much has happened to him, and is still happening. I don't know if he will ever get his happy ending. I honestly don't see how he could at this point.

The introduction of Cole was a good mix. I wasn't too sure of him in the beginning, but as we found out more about him, I could understand him more. He's a good balance to Sam and I hope that the author continues the exploration of their relationship more.

Now Isabel, oh how I just wanted to smack her the entire book. She yells at Sam constantly about how he's not doing anything or helping in any way and that he should give more, but what is she doing? Nothing...oh wait, lusting after Cole. I liked her character in the first book, but now I feel like she's dragging the series down.

I'm not too sure what Forever holds for Sam and Grace. Like I said before, I can't picture a happy ending for these two - I honestly haven't since the first book. I look forward to finishing off this series.
