The Ask and the Answer - Patrick Ness Ok, so I went through a WIDE range or emotions reading this book. And let me tell you, nothing was really wrapped up. And nothing was what I thought it would be. I ended up crying over the loss of a character who I initally viewed as a hated character. I was torn between both sides of the war, not knowing whether the other was truthful or not, and even though I still don't know completely, I found myself feeling betrayed by some and just at a loss with others.

I love the writing style of the books. It's written as it's told from a 14 year old boy and what I found fascinating was how you can tell the character grew between books just by the way the inner monologue was written. Brilliant part on the author. I am on to read the 3rd and final book.
